Looking for a part-time, remote SAS Administrator for an Los Angeles, CA

Engagement Specifics:

• 6 months
• Occasional travel to Los Angeles, CA
• Back-up Support Plan in Coverage and to meet SLA

Background:
California entertainment company looking for a part-time (16 to 24 hours per week on average), remote SAS/Systems Administrator to administer a multi-tiered SAS environment on HP UNIX. They are currently using SAS9.2 _M3 on 6 hosts. (1) Metadata server,  (1) Analytics, (1) Reporting, (1) Data Integration, (2) Midtiers. The midtier servers are located on Windows and are Websphere.  The Dev/QA environment consists of 1 HP-UX server (metadata/compute) and 1 Windows Mid-tier server.

Specific Skillsets:

• Ability to work with DEV and PROD environments being able to promote metadata from one to the other.
• Understanding of DI related metadata – Jobs, Custom Transformations, Deployed Jobs – and experience with configuring Change Management functionality in DI Studio
• Experience working with Custom and Project Repositories and promoting content.
• Experience with Metadata Security - ACTs, groups, ACE's , Roles
• Experience administering Websphere within a SAS environment
• Specifically single sign-on from websphere to SAS.
• Start and stopping servers.
• Troubleshooting SAS Server problems.
• Knowledge of integrating SAS metadata security with OS level security.
• LDAP and how SAS can be configured to use LDAP as an authentication provider.
• Experience working with UNIX environment variables
• Experience with UNIX scripting
• Experience with NeoView database  and accessing its data from SAS.
• Experience performing SAS backups including Metadata Repository, SAS permanent data, WRS reports, stored process code, etc.
• Experience applying upgrades in the form of hotfixes, services packs and maintenance release upgrades for SAS.
• Bonus if familiar with understanding of a Reverse Proxy Server (IHS in this case).
