SAS Viya 4.x provides the following administration tools:

SAS Environment Manager

SAS Environment Manager is a web application for SAS administration activities in a SAS Viya environment. It can be accessed via the Applications menu or directly using the URL. SAS Environment Manager consists of a set of pages. Each page enables you to examine and manage a particular aspect of the environment.

The Command-Line Interface (CLI)

The command-line interface (CLI) is a user interface to the SAS Viya REST services. You enter commands on a command line and receive a response from the system. You can use the CLI to work with SAS Viya programmatically as an alternative to using a graphical user interface (GUI).

Downloads for the SAS Viya command-line interface are available for Linux, Windows, and Apple macOS. It is common for administrators to download the CLI to their work system and configure it to interact with a remote Viya environment.
